On 7.12. Petula's second single "A Life Well Spent" is released as a hopeful swan song. A song from where cities become vague, where love is always missing, where the road markings are still running across your eyelids when you sleep. A life spent asleep in cars is a life well spent: always in transition, never reaching a destination.

Produced by Petula and La Boum Fatale's Antonio de Spirt, "A Life Well Spent" allows itself the techno references Petula usually hints at cautiously. But slow, crawling and staggering and drowsy. Sebastian Cleemann is thinking about endings. And yet he drives on until at the end everything gets washed up in the light. As usual.
