A new year's gift compiled from old demo recordings, sketches, winter gifts for my wife and a nice live recordings. Old songs, new songs, unfinished songs, put out as a free release in the early hours of 2009.
The cover photo pretty much sums up my feelings looking back at 2008: a splendid summer, a new life in my life, the giddiness and the joy in ridiculous poses and photographs that comes with great happiness.
The songs are still mostly sad, though. I rarely write about happy things. I rather enjoy them.
Also: a semi-interesting factoid. I've returned to the small river you can see in the cover art many times, but I have never been able to find this spot again. It was probably washed away and altered forver by one of the many spring floods. Weren't we all?

Everything played and recorded by Sebastian Cleemann in his girlfriend's kitchen and in his m²eerblick studio that was really just a closet. "Tier Park" was recorded by the unfuckwithable Björn Kant at Hamburg's Hafenklang exil.
